As far as I am concerned, the most pressing environment issue for my country and the world is the use of nuclear energy.
In order to develop, the requirement of electricity is become larger and larger, so nuclear energy was born. Nuclear energy is named as the one of the most clean energy in the world. Unlike the coal， natural gas，gasoline and other energy, nuclear energy will not cause air pollution or global warming . And the raw material is easy to get，so the price of electricity will be cheap. But, is it right for our human beings to use nuclear energy universally?
3.11，this is a date that Japanese will never forget. The tsunami caused magnitude 9.0 earthquake and unfortunately the earthquake caused a number of nuclear accidents, which forced hundreds thousand of Japanese to leave their home to avoid the radiation of nuclear power. And one research said, now there are only several countries knew how to control the nuclear power so far, and Japan isn't included. Nowadays, a lot of nuclear accidents took place, and every accident caused a lot of severe environment pollution which had lifelong side effects on the health of residents and also the economy.
Though the nuclear energy is very good, we can't ignore its shortcomings. The protections are needed. Especially the problem how to deal with the waste residue of nuclear reactor，and the radiation. I think before we can handle these measures, it's better for all governments to control the use of nuclear power plan. It is good for everything. And before we can control it, the most important lesson we should take is that how to save electricity and other resources. And now in China，it is popular to save resources and build a harmonious society,which included the human beings and nature 's harmonious.
Saving resources， building a better living condition and environment, China is on the way.
cool wording.... of course, china plan to launch nuclear energy but i believe it is not the only major environmental problem china has but still china is a very impressive fast growing country.
回复删除Agreed! This is situation is like: "Don't ask something that don't want to hear". the country needs this fancy nuclear plant to become self-sufficient and make use of it in various ways. Japan was annihilated with the nuclear thing but, however, many countries possess the nuclear plant still. Nothing but nagging here.

Wow, Xingna Ye, excellent analysis and very well presented! I agree with your fears about nuclear energy. While it seems to offer so many short-term advantages, it seems irrational to me that we can continue along this path without concrete answers about how to deal with the waste and the consequences of natural disasters like Japan. I agree with you that the first part of the solution is saving resources!
回复删除i think , developed countries like US,China,etc should be more responsible to promote saving the energy and resources projects.Because these countries have many factories producing CO2,nuclear power and they are making the world destroyed.Fortunately, they have awareness about that and saving the world's deteriorating situation.
回复删除The nuclear energy is very important these days because it helps developing country to improve there economic status and increase the country income, On the other hand, the nuclear wastes products is very dangerous and may lead to death and increase the number of morbidity caused by the nuclear wastes products in case of the pollution become out of control. Country such as China, they must have perfect plan to control pollution, because they have large number of factories. I think in near future, China will become the world leader of the production of energy by using nuclear reactors.
