The day before yesterday, I read a piece of news about the same-sex Marriage. It said that New York Mayor Bloomberg will officiate a same-sex marriage on Sunday July 24. It is really big news, as we known, in most countries the same-sex marriage are not allowed, and in In Chinese Marriage Law, the legal marriages only protect the marriage between male and female. And there are large number persons who are still against the same-sex marriage all over the world. Obviously, there are lots of shortcomings on the same-sex marriage. First, it is really a big shock to some people's faith and beliefs. To them, marriages mean men and women getting together and then have a baby to continue their generation, which is holy. The same-sex marriage violates those people’s ethical and moral. Second, the same-sex marriage may increase the ratio of venereal diseases and that does harm to the society’s harmony. Third, in some European countries, the population is quite small, if the same-sex marriage will be allowed, this is really a big challenge to population’s increase.
But as far as I am concerned, I agree with this kind of marriage. Love is equal, so both men and women can have the right to love. Marriage is based on love, if there is the true love nothing can stop them and nothing should stop them. Same-sex love can not be blamed, because it is natural. When we are born, our gender is predestined, so is the sexual orientation. Furthermore, nowadays, the quantity of men is more than the women, and the quantity of gays is also more than the lesbians which means the same-sex marriage will do a favor to help relieve the quantity imbalance between men and women. The only thing government should do is to draw up some regulations to protect the legal rights of same-sex marriages, and control the ratio of venereal diseases. 回复删除I do not agree because this is related to religious things. If we cut off religion from the menu, still danger threatening the public health. As everyone knows that illegal sexual contact one of the biggest reasons for the spread of the deadliest diseases around the world. Also, the same sex marriage goes against human nature. Finally, it is a personal freedom.

This has always been a very controversial topic in the United States, as well as around the world. The United States government is based on the values of equality of all people, freedom of speech, and separation of church and state. The same sex marriage law in NYS was an attempt by the State government to respect the founding principles of our country, while still respecting individual faiths and religions. The law has a clause that these same-sex unions do not have to be recognized by any religious institutions that do not agree with the principle. Yes, it is an interesting topic.
回复删除OMG~~~It is a good question. I think if you want have a same-sex marriage,you can just do it.Maybe go to some places which allow gay to marry. Or you can just live together with your half. If there is the true love between you two,married and not married is the same,^-^.Because the most important thing is that you are together~ ^-^.But I do not think you are guy~~~~~So you don not have this question in reality~~O(∩_∩)O~~~
